Derina Harvey Band

Well, the band is hitting the road for a few gigs in Lloydminster and Fort McMurray, where we’ll be ringing in St. Patrick’s Day at Paddy McSwiggins! If you are reading this and you live in Fort McMurray: Get yer arse out to Paddy’s on March 17^th!!! The band will also be doing an “All Request Show” for those of you who can’t make it out on Paddy’s Day, the Sunday before (March 15^th). Derina has a few solo gigs around Edmonton on the calendar too, so be sure to stop by and see her at the Druid, Sherlock’s (downtown), or Duggan’s! This month, we also shored up some gigs back in Newfoundland this summer (more about that later!)
 

Of course, playing live is fun but right now we’re most excited about our new album. We’ve been busy writing, arranging, and recording demos for our new album with a couple of original songs included this time around! You may have heard Derina on CKUA on the Celtic Show in late January performing an original entitled “Rove and Go”. Anyway, we’re rehearsing like mad this month in between gigs and we’ll head into the studio in April. We want all of you folks to be a part of creating this album too, and you’ll be able to help do that by being a part of our album pre-order campaign (more about that in April).
 

For now folks, that’s about all from us… for the month of March at least. Stay tuned though – the rest of this year is going to be wiiiicked!
